I finally got him to look at the camera! It took some creative thinking...all I had to do was make a funny noise to get him to look at me (briefly) and smile! I had to be very quick to get this shot....I love it!!! Matthew is really the reason I got into photography, they could never get him to sit still and he would often have meltdowns! I thought if I could learn to do this I could get some good photos of him at home where he is more comfortable. I also cut his hair today....he doesn't do well at the beauty shop either!
Oh you did get an excellent shot. Fine looking young man - wonderfully expressive face both smiling and when he is in thought. (just so you know, I was only able to comment when I went in through your blog in your signature versus the link - don't know why).

He has such a "Mona Lisa" smile. Like, he has a secret that he's not sharing. He has beautiful eyes! You mentioned in another post about him and that cat. That would be a wonderful shot to get that would require no eye contact...just him looking at the cat! Plus, what a great memory for him! Nice job, Bridgett!
